Recent Scrapbooking Projects

Here are some things I've been working on the last couple of months. They're so fun, & I'm so addicted!

This is a book I made for my grandma for Christmas after my grandpa died in Sept 2007. These are just a few of the pages, not all...

You know those teeny tiny little mint tins? They're only a couple inches high? Well, my dear husband didn't think I could get creative with the empty one he had. Hm!!! Think again, sweetheart! Here we have an adorable little medicine tin/paperclip tin/money tin - or whatever you want it to be!

This is a book I'm doing with die cut edged 12x12 paper. I cut the papers in half, backed them to each other, bound it with "O" rings, & decorated away! It still needs ribbons on the rings & photos to finish it off. The last photo is upclose so you can see how cute the little die cut edges are. I love this paper!

This is an ABC book I made at a class in January. Took FOREVER! 5 1/2 hour class, & I only got to the letter "N"! I had to do the rest at home. I'm only showing a couple pages, cause there are a lot!)

Family Portraits - Fall 2007

These are our family pictures from this past fall (2007). It was taken way down in the canyon 5 minutes from our house! We were pretty chilly, but we lucked out, cause "UP" on the regular ground above the canyon was windy & rainy! We almost cancelled, cause the weather was so bad. We spent a long time doing hair & getting all spiffy, so we are definitely glad it cooperated long enough to get these done!

Much thanks to Jamie, the sweet gal we bought our home from, for doing these beautiful pictures for us! What a talented woman!

I hear blogs are getting popular!

So I was convinced to finally do my own. Why not? I'll either get addicted to it, or I won't ever add anything to it. I guess we'll see!

I read other people's blogs a lot... especially ones that have to do with scrapbooking. LOL!

I don't let my kids do Blogs or My Space, so I've never considered doing one myself.

HOWEVER... I feel the peer pressure! And since I love my little family & their darling photos - AND - I love to talk about my favorite things... Well...

HERE I AM!
